   So, I have a dilemma. And I think my particular situation may be an isolated one, so I will leave 4 stars becuase the product does as intended. But personally I give this product 3 stars, and here’s why:This thing, is THICK, it almost has a weight to it as well.In the past, with the vita, the 3DS, the WiiU gamepad and even the GBA, companies have been coming out with these cheapie-plastic ultra-slim flexible, gel-like covers for your systems. And I have always bought them. I like to just have a thin bumper around my devices. I like the protection but hate the bulk. I take good care of my devices and dont need excessive screen protectors, covers, etc.So you can imagine my surprise upon receiving what can only be described as practically Ballistic Gel or some kind of military grade plastic for your switch lite. Okay maybe theres a bit of hyperbole there, but no joke this thing is massive. It makes your switch lite, a switch chonk.It was a bit tough to get on at first but when the switch snapped in it fit well. It will definitely protect the back of your console from almost anything and definitely protect from drops at waist height.But if you were looking so something ultra slim and form fitting, you may want to get something cheaper. This thing is built Ford tough.

   Nice slim grip and no cramping during playing. Hori is well known for their 3DS DuraFlexi cases and this is pretty similar if not a little thicker, great quality and no yellowing. This fits really snug on the Switch Lite which can make removal or applying difficult. That’s the only reason why I deducted one point off because trying to remove it can feel like your applying lots of pressure on your switch. Once it’s on, it stays on.I use the two tone Switch Lite Stealth case and it fits perfectly. This would work in most carrying cases or carrying pouches so depending on how you want to travel or carry, this would be perfect as extra protection. My only concern is if you have sweaty hands like I do it can leave marks on the back but it’s easy to clean off. It doesn’t have the same drop protection like the tough armor so I don’t recommend this if you’re really clumsy or worried about dropping this a lot.

   The product itself is well made and there are no factory detects, but its design makes it a nightmare to remove. I have the special edition pokemon switch lite, so I wanted a case that would show off its design on the back. Previously, I was using the switch lite flip cover case, and I adored it. I loved how simple it was, and how it protected against dust and scratching and the general greasiness of my hands (I’m hyper sensitive to the fact that the switch lite has a very delicate matte coating that can scuff or rub off very easily). So, with that in mind, I was looking for a clear case with a snug but gentle fit, that wouldnt trap debris inside over time, as is what often happens with plastic or silicone cases. Unfortunately, this case missed the mark. It’s not tough to get it in, and it feels like it fits well and is nice and solid. The problem starts when/if you need to remove it. Unfortunately, the case gave my console minor scratches during the removal process, which makes me very upset. I’d be upset even if I had a regular color lite, but knowing its a special edition makes me even more bitter. Not to mention that during the removal process, you have to wrench on the trigger buttons in a way that feels really unnatural. It’s just annoying that I’ve babied this console for 2 years now, and one case left it with scratches, which is something I’ve avoided this whole time, even with consistent use. I’m really frustrated and annoyed at the design of this thing. As an additional note, the inside of the case has a textured grid-like feel to it that I haven’t seen anyone mention so far. It’s not bad, and it might actually help in some way that I’m not privy to, but regardless, I thought I would mention it. Do yourself a favor and just splurge for the magnetic flip cover case. It only comes in gray, which isn’t very fun, but its durable and easy to take on and off without feeling loose, plus its got a microfiber lining and a hard shell all in one. I’d include photos, but I can’t get the camera to focus on them (and in all honesty, I’m probably being a bit dramstic and a baby about it).

   Bought from seller BUYCRAZY.Case came in flimsy grey bag that was too small for the item. The box for the case was crushed and bent into the bag. It was cosmetically unappealing. Imagine if it were a gift.Case that should be clear came slightly yellowed. Not sure why. Unhappy with the yellowing. It makes my switch lite look uglier.I can tell this item would be great in its original condition, so I rated it 5 stars. I don’t want to punish the product manufacturer for the seller’s faults.I’m hoping Amazon itself will sell the item at a better price and condition, and use better fit and protective packaging.

   Very cute pattern and very durable. Never experienced any issues. Easy to install. Gotten many compliments from this case!
